New Year's Eve, Eve

So here we are at the crux of yet another year. We are trading in 2004 for 2005. Is this the smartest move that we can make? Does it really make sense or are we just doing it for the sake of doing it? I don't understand it any more than you do. Of course, I just had 3 martinis and a scotch so I don't really understand anything at this point.
